Because Japanese did not know Korean copies well and did not say anything even if they knew that, Korean did not have to pay royalties. Koreans say that it’s natural for Korean to copy Japanese things, because Japan occupied Korea for 35 years. Park Cheol-Hee, a Korean Professor says that Koreans think “It’s no problem Koreans say and do anything to Japan, because Japan occupied Korea.” That makes no sense. Even now it is a waste of time for Japanese to sue Korean, because it is rare that Japanese win in Korean court. |
