The commercial operation of Korea's first low-speed linear railroad "Inchon Airport Maglev" reached a deadlock virtually. The opening of business plan was June, 2012 at first, but it had been postponed repeatedly, and Inchon city offered the eighth postponement in the end of June this year. While serious obstacles about security were pointed out over and over again, the prospect of the technology development to lead to solution is not in sight. The national policy business that Korea tackles at any cost toward linear railroad export is "floating in the air" contrary to the train.

Kim (27) is a Korean foreign student working part-time at a Japanese-style restaurant in Osaka(Japan).　When Korean tourists enter the restaurant, he breaks out in a cold sweat. It's because of embarrassing memory repeated many times.

Korean tourists more than 200,000 a year support the regional economy of Tsushima that is called "the island of the border", but several bars put up "No Korean tourists". A manager explains, "Unnecessary troubles may happen when I accept Korean".

A sightseeing and business trip support supplier for Koreans in Tokyo points out, "Even if we explain the manner to Koreans beforehand, they ignore it and often behave in a Korean style. There may be some reasons including their pride, but 'Do in Rome as the Romans do' is the international manner".

On April 12, 2015, Freddie Gray, a 25-year-old African American resident of Baltimore, Maryland , sustained injuries following his arrest by policemen. On April 18, 2015, after Gray's subsequent coma, the residents of Baltimore protested in front of the Western district police station. Gray died the following day , April 19, 2015, a week after being arrested. Apparently in good health at the time of his arrest, Gray fell into a coma while in transport as the result of injuries to his neck and spine sustained while being transported in a police vehicle. On May 1, 2015, Gray's death was ruled to be a homicide and legal charges were issued against the six officers involved in the incident, including that of second-degree murder.

Protests were organized after Gray's death became public knowledge, and spontaneous protests started after the funeral service, although several included violent elements. Civil unrest and hooliganism continued with at least twenty police officers injured, at least 250 people arrested, thousands of police and Maryland Army National Guard troops were deployed, and a state of emergency was declared in the city limits of Baltimore.

By April 30, over forty Korean American owned businesses had been damaged by the riots. Chinese American and Arab American owned stores were also targeted, with looters directed by African American gangs towards those businesses.

"K11" the Korean military spent 448,500 million won (approximately 394 million dollar) and developed as "the next-generation weapon" which changed the frame of rifle was polluted by fraud and laxity.

• According to Korean media MBC, there are 20,000 Kopinos now. Kopino is a child of mixed Korean and Filipino descent to an unwed Filipina mother and is not recognized by Korean man. • Kopino or Korinoy in Filipino slang is a child of mixed Korean and Filipino descent to an unwed Filipina mother.
• The increasing prevalence of South Korean men in sex tourism to the Philippines has resulted in the birth of an estimated 30,000 Kopinos. A Philippine delegate to the 2005 international conference of ECPAT (End CHild Prostitution, Child Pornography and Trafficking of Children for Sexual Purposes) called for an investigation of the Kopino. According to the delegate, as Korean fathers go back to Korea, most of them stop contacting with his family in the Philippines and not helping them financially. As a result, Korean men give up on their child and their Filipina girlfriend. According to the Cebu-based Kopino Foundation, a charitable organisation started by a local Korean businessman, the largest concentration can be found in Quezon City in Metro Manila.
• 85 to 90% of the mothers work as bar girls or in brothels with foreign clients.
• Additionally, this problem occurs by a wrong sex-culture of Korean men. Korean men go to the Philippines for language training or sex tourism and for having fun with Filipina women without taking responsibilities. Due to a strict religious culture of not allowing abortion, Filipinas give birth to these children. Also, the Kopinos are being criticized recently in international society.
• May 2015 America's Wall street Journal said in an article titled '30,000 Kopinos placed in blind-spot,' "Korea was sexually harassed by Japanese and Americans long ago, but now that Korea is becoming rich, Korean men are doing the same thing to Filipinas". As their fathers are not married to their mothers, they are unable to obtain South Korean citizenship. As recently as 2003 they were believed to number fewer than 1,000; another 9,000 were born from 2003 to 2008. As a result, Filipinos' perception of Korean men has taken a turn for the worse.
• In response, South Korean NGOs such as the Daejeon Migrant Workers Support Center, as well as locally established NGOs like the Kopino Children Center, have begun to establish branch offices in the Philippines to provide social services to the children and their mothers.

"Comfort women of the empire" that professor Park Yuha of Sejong University published in Korea in August last year is the book which touched the responsibility of Japan-Korea both sides about the issue of comfort women.
However, on February 17 the district court in eastern Seoul gave the decision that "the court prohibits publication unless Park accepts 34 places of deletion". This is de facto publication prohibition.

• Japan government accepts responsibility about So-called Comfort women. Korea abandoned the rights about the colony times to claim to Japan in "Japan‐Republic of Korea Basic Relations Treaty" in 1965. On the other hand, Japan performed economic cooperation of 500 million dollars to Korea that is equal to Korean national budget. Therefore, Japanese government thinks that was settled.
  Japanese Government collected money from the private citizens, made "Asian Women's Fund" in 1995 and handed it to the former Comfort women. The fund handed 2 million yen per a woman and the Prime Minister handed the letter of the apology to each former comfort women. But the person who received money was criticized in Korea. Because it is not the apology as the Japanese nation, but the private money.
  
• Japanese side accepts the responsibility, but it claims "private citizens recruited comfort women", "there was no treatments as the sex slave" and "there are no evidence of 200, 000". Korea thinks that Japan apologizes but it is not apology. There are the monuments and the statues of the comfort women in Japan, the Republic of Korea, the United States of America, etc.
  Setting of the monuments of the comfort women in the United States is pushed forward mainly by South Korean inhabitants from about 2009.
• The research report by U.S. forces ("Report No. 49: Japanese Prisoners of War Interrogation on Prostitution") in 1944 said
  "the Korean comfort women were prostitutes employed by high pay".

• 　Pusan city built huge facilities named "the palace of the movie" in 2011 for the Pusan International Film Festival. It opened on September 29, 2011 and the starting ceremony of the 16th film festival was on October 14. On that day it rained 30 millimeters. • The Korean media "Korean economy" published an article with the title called "the reason why GALAXY is not bought in Japan" on March 23rd and published the analysis of Cook Jun-Ho the professor of Yokohama City University about the difference between Japanese and Korean in "manufacturing".
• According to the article, the professor analyzed Japanese traits at first. He said "the Japanese has a strong preference for one thing and assumes it virtue." He added "delicacy is a strength of the Japanese technique and 'honesty' in the manufacturing roots in the Japanese society." Furthermore he lectured "Japanese has the pride that even one technique is worthwhile if it is useful in the world. The technique is used in the other countries, when it is accepted by the world .

• Yonhap News Agency in Korea reported that the wife of Kenji Goto (47) killed by the Islamic nation (IS) announced the statement, "I remain extremely proud of my husband".
  • The wife of Goto announced the statement through a British journalist support group on February 1. She said "I remain extremely proud of my husband who reported the plight of people in conflict areas." in it.

   • On January 23, 2013, the plural Korean media reported that the women who engaged in prostitution business in Korea amounted to approximately 270,000 and it reached approximately 1.07% of woman population (Korean National Statistical Office investigation in 2013).
     According to the survey by ministry of Korean woman family, 3,644 women work in professional prostitution suppliers (crowd place of the brothel), approximately 147,000 women work in another job type prostitution suppliers (bars) and approximately 118,000 women work by the Internet and other methods.
     Korean media wrote, "specialists said the number of "270,000 women" was not correct and it was maybe more than that".
   • On June 27, 2011, the U. S. Department of State announced "the annual report" that summarized the actual situation of human traffic of 184 countries of the world.
     It pointed out "The Republic of Korea (ROK or South Korea) is a source, transit, and destination country for men and women subjected to forced prostitution and forced labor." and it demanded the control and maintenance of the law to Korean government.
     The report pointed out that the men and women who entered Korea for work and marriage from Russia, Uzbekistan, Kazakhstan, Morocco, Colombia, Mongolia, China, the Philippines, Thailand and Cambodia really encountered damage of forced labor and the prostitution there.
     It wrote that sex buying and selling through the Internet spreads to the minor in Korea and some Korean women became prostitutes in United States, Canada, Japan and Australia.

1. In a Japanese TV program, the issue of dominium of "Takeshima"(Tokdo) was discussed.
2. Kim Hyun-Ki, a Korean comedian said,
   "It is Korea territory because I have learned that since I was small.", "because there is no Korean who does not know that." and "because there is the song called 'Tokdo'."
   In other words the Korean insistence is "because it is the Korean territory, it is Korean territory". Their explanation does not explain anything. It does not make sense.
3. Tsuneyasu Takeda the Japanese cast explained the historic reason and said,

The reason of the change seems to be the following facts.

• It is improbable in the developed countries that the Japanese newspaper reporter who wrote the criticism article of the Korean President is charged with a crime.
• The Korean court gave the judgment lacking common sense that Korea did not have to return the statues of Buddha that were stolen from the Japanese temple and carried away to Korea by Korean larcenists.
• About So-called Comfort women, the research report by U.S. forces in 1944 said "the Korean comfort women were prostitutes employed by high pay". But Korea criticizes Japan saying that they were sex slaves. And it was Korean who gathered so-called comfort women and earned money.
• Takeshima(Tokdo) belongs to Japan historically, logically and in international law. Takeshima had been already used in the Edo era (1603-1868) by Japanese. After the Meiji government was established in 1868, Takeshima became the jurisdiction of Shimane Pref. in 1905. But in 1953 Korean government one-sidedly occupied the island by use of armed force.

• The US Ambassador to Korea was slashed at by a man with a knife on the morning of March 5 in Korea, Seoul.
  According to the Korean police and the persons concerned, when the ambassador Lippert was going to have breakfast in the performance meeting place at about 7:40 a.m., a Korean man slashed the ambassador with a knife of 25 centimeters of length of a blade.
  The ambassador injured his face and was transferred to the hospital, but it is not in danger of life. The suspect(54) is a member of a citizen group, and he was arrested on the spot by the police.
  According to the Korean police authority, the restricted man had hurled a piece of concrete at the Japanese ambassador to Korea five years ago.

• Road Cave-in in Seoul, more than 100 times of Tokyo
  Road cave-in in Seoul City was 435 cases in 2010, 854 cases in 2013 and 568 cases in 2014(from January to July).
  There was the accident that a car running in Seoul City fell into a cave-in of approximately 1 meter in depth last August.
  The traffic accidents by the road cave-in are more than 2000 in the past 10 years, and it becomes a big social problem in Korea.
  On the other hand, as a result of having pushed forward the action that Tokyo prevented cave-ins, cave-in accidents became less than ten a year.
• The Korean editorial complained to Japan, "Japan won't teach the technology."
  The Seoul city requested the Japanese research company "Geo-search" for cooperation last autumn. The company has a high technique in underground cavity survey.
  　41 places of undiscovered basement cavities were discovered in only 4 days investigation, when the company investigated roads of the neighborhood of Korean main subway stations gratis in last December.
  "Geo-search" submitted the report which showed priority of the cavity distribution and repair on the map.
  The Korean "Chosun Ilbo" complained "the Japanese company did not tell us for a reason to be a secret about the analysis technique of accurate size and the risk".
• Korean Mayor of Seoul clings to the sister city Tokyo
  As a result, Seoul City clung to the sister city Tokyo.

• A former executive of South Korea's national airline has been jailed for one year for obstructing aviation safety during a row over nuts.
• Heather Cho forced a plane to return to the gate in New York last December and offload a steward because she did not like the way she had been served nuts.
• Prosecutors had asked for a sentence of three years in prison on charges of breaking aviation law, assault and interfering in an investigation.

• The second trial of Japanese swimmer Naoya Tomita(25) was opened in Inchon district court on February 2. He had agreed to a summary indictment from the prosecutors for stealing a camera in Inchon Asian Games Korea.
• According to Tomita, because he was told that he could not return to Japan if he did not accept the crime, he paid fine 1 million won (approximately 100,000 yen) in acknowledgment of a crime.
  However, he pleaded not guilty after return to Japan and decided to receive an official trial in Korea.
• There was an incident that the interpreter the court side should have prepared for was absent by mistake on the date. The Korean defense lawyer of Tomita agreed that he interpreted instead, but the trial was pushed forward with having few Japanese to Tomita and others. Japanese lawyer Takejiro Kunida who appeared in court said after the trial, "I was very surprised. I think that it is natural for him to confirm the date on the day before".

• Japanese confectionery company Ezaki Glico ran out of patience at last.
  Last November Glico filed a suit for the sale suspension of "Premiere Pepero" of Korean Lotte in the Korean court,
  saying that "Premiere Pepero" copied the form of the box of "Bâton d'or" that was high quality version of "Pretz" and "Pocky".
  
• In 1966 Glico released "Pocky" in Japan , but Korean Lotte released similar stick chocolate "Pepero" in Korea 17 years later.
  
• The design of the package of "Bâton d'or" is full of high‐grade sense and it has the shape of the elegant curve that twists a lengthwise box.
  It has been sold on a qualified scale at the Hankyu Department Store Umeda head offices in Osaka since October, 2012.
  When Korean Lotte released "Premiere Pepero" for high quality version of "Pepero" in Korea in last year, a local resident of Glico noticed that the shape of the curve of the box was similar to "Bâton d'or".
  
• Glico has the design right of the package in Korea and it judged that Korean Lotte infringed on the rights by using the design without permission.
  Glico said that it decided suit because it had given a warning sentence for the recall of "Premiere Pepero" to the Lotte side but "response had been insufficiency".
  The persons concerned of Glico smiled wryly, and said "the shape of this box is too much similar all the same".
  

• HEATHER CHO, a vice president of Korean Air, and daughter of the airline’s chairman, is being investigated after an incident on a plane about to take off from JFK heading to Seoul. Bloomberg reports that Ms Cho "ordered a plane back to the gate so she could remove a crew member who gave an incorrect answer to a question on how to serve macadamia nuts." The Guardian quotes reports that Ms Cho began to scream after the steward first failed to ask whether she wanted the nuts, and then served them to her in a paper bag rather than on a plate.

1. On October 8, 2014 The Korean prosecution indicted the former Seoul Branch Chief of the daily Japanese newspaper "Sankei Shimbun" without arrest for the reason that a column of "Sankei Shimbun" hurt the honor of the Korean President Park Geun-hye.
   
2. Sankei Shimbun had written a column in Japanese like this,
   " It became clear that anybody did not know the whereabouts of the President Park for seven hours on April 16 2014 of the passenger ship submergence accident day. The confusion of the Korean government stands out. When the representative of opposition party side asked the location of the President on the accident day in the Diet of July 7, the secretary general manager Gichun Kim replied 'I don't know that'. When the Diet asked the location and the action of the President on the catastrophe day, the government could not answer. Is the Korean power center uncertain in this way?
   Such dissatisfaction led to the diffusion of a certain rumor. The typical example is a column with 'the rumors around the President' of the Korean newspaper 'The Chosun Ilbo'. The rumor relates to the relations of President Park and the man.
   The Korean newspaper 'The Chosun Ilbo' wrote, 'There was the secret schedule of the President. The rumor that the President was with a Secret man together on that day was made'. I do not know the truth of the rumor, but the column of 'The Chosun Ilbo' analyzes the background where there were the 'vulgar' rumor over Park administration. 3. On October 7 approximately 50 members of the Korean conservative group held the meeting for apology and the correction of "Sankei Shimbun" in front of the building in the Seoul city where the branch office was in.
4. Japan's foreign minister expressed concern over the indictment, and Sankei president Takamitsu Kumasaka demanded it be retracted as soon as possible.
5. In Washington, State Department spokeswoman Jen Psaki told reporters the U.S. was aware of reports about the journalist's indictment but had no further details. 1. Though the lodgings for foreign players were hot, there was not even the electric fan much less the air-conditioner. And players were forced to spend time there without even a window being opened in intense heat, because there was not a screen door.
   In addition, the meal for players was very simple, and, besides, Salmonella was detected in the lunch, and there was the danger to cause food poisoning.
   Because neither the proper locker room nor the shower was installed, the player changed his/her clothes in a tent of inferior quality.
   The games were too poor to be the international games.
   
2. There were many questionable judgments that took sides with Korea and were unfair in the games.
   When an Indian player was defeated by a Korean in an unfair judgment in a game of the boxing women, she refused the receipt of the bronze medal in the commendation ceremony.
   In addition, a North Korean player was thrown out because he hurled a plastic bottle for the referee who made a mysterious judgement in the soccer game.
   There are many voices to criticize the judgment of the PK which Korea was given in Korea vs Japan game just before fulltime.
   The wind that was advantageous to a Korean player blew unnaturally during Japan vs. Korea game in badminton in a gymnasium.
   There were many situations that injustices were doubted.
3. Over the judgment that the referee gave Korea PK in a soccer game of Korea vs. Thailand performed on September 30, many Thais wrote in comments to criticize Korea on the Internet.
   Then the Korean net users who were distracted by this coments made the images which insulted the Thai king and contributed it to a net.
   On October 11 after the games closing, it was found out that the sidewalk of the design which stamped on a Thai national flag was made by Korean and it was reported in the news of each country.
   Thai public opinion protested vehemently, and Thai Ambassador in Korea asked the Korean government for the fact and protested formally.
   The Anti-Korea mood in Thailand increases.

• The Thai is too amazed in the way of trickery of Korea and flies into a rage very much.
  The umpire performed a funny judgment in the soccer game of Thailand and Korea and gave Thailand a penalty.
  Korean team got a penalty kick and controlled the pace of the game, and Korea won by result 2 to 0.
  Many Thais contribute criticism and a Korean slander photograph to "Facebook", and originally the bad Anti-Korea mood of Thai people spreads. Gentle Thais cannot gain anger.

1. Mysterious judgments occurred successively in the boxing competitions of the Inchon Asian Games.
   The judgment of the doubt was given in the semifinals of the girl lightweight class on September 30.
   It was the game between Indian Ricelam Salita Debbie(32) and Korean Park jin-a(25).
   It was Debbie to have been thought to be superior through the whole game, and she gave many punches thought to be effective. As for Park, she showed a lot of clinches to run away and the rabbit punches so often.
   But the judgment was victory of Park in 0-3. Three umpires were from Italy, Tunisia and Poland.
   Boos happened for this result from the audience except the Korean promptly. Debbie showed an expression surprised at the judgment, and shed tears after the game.
   She claimed that the judgment was not accepted and the Indian team also protested on the same day.
   Salita Debbie expressed her disapproval of the judgment of the semifinals and refused the bronze medal in a commendation ceremony.
   
2. The American net users praised the courage of the Indian player, and a lot of comments to criticize Korea were written in.
   They said, "Korea has too much injustice", "This is Korean standard". "This is the same as in Seoul Olympics 1988 and Japan-Korea World Cup 2002." "This is the prologue of the Dong-gye Winter Olympics 2018". "Global new slang was born, 'Do not korea'(this means 'do not do wrong'".
3. Another doubt is the judgment of the quarterfinals of a boy bantamweight class on September 30.

• In the badminton men's team competition quarterfinals Japan vs. Korea, a "wind" problem occurred.
  Tago Kenichi won the first game, but the head wind for the Tago blew by the second game.
  A court was changed in the third game, but a head wind blew again. Tago lost by a reversal after all. The team lost, too.
  Japanese coach Keita Masuda who noticed a headwind in the second game presented a question to the umpire, but it was declined.
  
• Questions to "wind" were presented from not only Japan but also China, Indonesia and Malaysia to panel of judges.

1. Most of terms about science, mathematics and etc. and about the systems like school system or jury system were imported from Japan. Because Japanese translated European terms into Japanese using "Kanji"(Chinese letters) in "Meiji" Era(the 19th century) and Japan ruled Korea from 1910 to 1945. But most of Korean don't know the facts except Japanese reign and don't want to accept that.
   
2. They had used "Kanji", but now they don't because of their pride.
   They use only the Hangul (Korean alphabet) made in 15th century.
   Because the most of "kanji words" are made in Japan, it is necessary to put out "kanji".
   Even if they express the words only in the Hangul Alphabet, it does not change that the words derive from "kanji". They are eager in expressing Japanese words in Korean words. For example they call "karaoke" "noreban".
   They are going to express "kajok"(family) that derived from Japanese in other words with "shikku", but that does not go well.
   80% of Korean vocabulary are said to be "kanji words", but most of "kanji words" come from Japanese. Therefore, it is considerably difficult to abolish all of them.
3. They say that the linguists in the world praise the Hangul as the best alphabet for all the languages.
   But the Hangul can not express the sounds of "tsu", "za", "ze", "zo" etc. And it can not express long vowels. So they pronounce "chu" for "tsu", "ja" for "za", "je" for "ze" and "jo" for "zo".
   "다" is sometimes pronounced "ta" and is sometimes pronounced "da". In the same way, "바" is sometimes pronounced "pa" and is sometimes pronounced "ba". There are several such examples.
   So Korean had better make clear who are the linguists that praised the Hangul as the best alphabet.

1. "Kenchanayo" means "It doesn't matter.", "It makes no difference.", "It's all right.", "Don't worry about the details."
2. They open the refrigerator of their friends without permission and drink juice.

   • On April 16, the maritime police explained to the families of the passengers, "We injected oxygen in the ship", but the explanation was false.
   • On April 17, the Korean National Police Agency clarified the findings that all the messages from the missing persons are false. The messages to the families said "I'm alive in the ship".
   • On April 18, The company which operated passenger boat announced that the dead who was not in the list was found. The company announced that the number of the passengers was 475 but it might change again.
   • On April 20, because the staff of the security Civil Service Department who visited the spot tried to take a photograph in front of the list of the victim, the families of the victim and the missing persons were enraged.
   • On April 22, it came out that the man who acted as "representative of the families" in the gymnasium where the families of the missing persons gathered was unrelated to the families.
   • On April 20, a woman was restricted by the police, because she posed as a private diver and said "The marine police disturbed the rescue operation of private divers" on TV News.
   • On April 24, the government denied the news of some media that the fingers of the victim were broken.
5. On May 22, 2014, a warrant for arrest was issued for Yoo Byung-eun the ex-President of the shipping line for the suspicion of tax evasion or embezzlement in the passenger ship submergence accident in Korea.
   On May 29, the Korean government judged the property of approximately 240 billion won (approximately 230 million dollar) that the suspect Yoo and his families have as the illegal gain by breach of trust and embezzlement and the government decided to confiscate all their possessions to call their criminal liability.
6. On April 15, 2014 New York Times reported that a trouble happened between McDonald's and the Korean elderly person concerning seats in a Korean town of New York.
   The Koreans had been milking their stays over $1.09 coffees, violating the restaurant's 20-minute dining limit. As the police evicted elderly Korean patrons from the McDonald's, the Korean society in the United States objects saying that "it is discrimination".
   It says, "They are the leading persons who worked eagerly to make Korea one of 10 big economic nations. It is to profane the whole of Koreans to treat the respectable old Korean like a criminal."
   Che Yunhi, the chairperson of the association said "many Koreans live there. The largest customers are Koreans." and showed dissatisfaction to McDonald's.
7. The affairs a Chinese study abroad student encountered in Korea(XINHUA.JP)
   • A Korean friend asked me, "Korea is good. Do you think so too? Have you ever sat down on the sofa in China?"
     Then her boyfriend said, "Beijing, Dalian and Nanjing have greatly developed. You had better go."
     But he was knocked by them later. Because he was not suitable for Korean!
   • Many Koreans said to me, "Wow! You are considerable rich to be able to come to Korea. We Koreans go to the United States or the UK, at least Japan."

8. A Japanese actress said, "When I go to Korea, I am often praised that I'm beautiful. That's good. But when I am told my relatives should be Koreans, I feel unpleasant."

• Korean students have bad results. They like sports and quarrel well.
  It is easy to tell the difference.
  They are tall and muscular, their eyes are small, and they put on a hat.
  If you hear the yellow-skinned student quarrelling with a tall white or black student at school, it is a Korean.

• Taekwondo - Imitation of Karate
  Karate developed in the Ryukyu Kingdom.
  It was brought to the Japanese mainland in the early 20th century during a time of cultural exchanges between the Japanese and the Ryukyuans.

  　But it was found out that the Kwangju city forged the signature of the Prime Minister and Minister of Culture, Sports and education in the document that wrote "the Korean government will support 100 million dollars." The Korean government grasped this fact three months before, but covered it.
  　It was shown that even the government and local government level forged openly.
