Japanese TV programs for children were broadcast as Korean programs, ignoring the copyrights. And the toys were released as Korean toys there too.
Ironically, Korea was able to plagiarize Japanese culture because the import was prohibited.
It may be unbelievable, but even now the Japanese songs are prohibited on radio and television in Korea, and a song is prohibited from broadcast if a Japanese word is in the song.
It is very easy to plagiarize the Japanese plastic models. You can copy them just by making the molds from Japanese genuine plastic models.
Even now Koreans are allowed to do some crime in Korea, if it is to Japanese. This is “The crime against Japanese is innocent (반일무죄)”. So Koreans can copy Japanese things, and the fabrications and the trumped‐up stories are permitted. (Korean fakes)
