“Korea in amazement (Bokanron)” released in December, 2013 was written by Katsumi Murotani who had successively worked as Seoul Correspondent of “Jiji Press”. The book is the bestseller.
He does not speak Korean national traits with his feelings, but he speaks that based on newspapers and history books of Korea and China. That’s the reason you feel his book persuasive and accurate.
That is the difference from Korean who insists on their feelings without showing evidences.
However, the Korean big claim power by the advertising is easy to spread in the world. It is necessary for Japan to develop an effort to send the facts to the world.
The author must not be satisfied to become the bestseller in Japan. He should spread his thinking based on evidences to people in the world.

１．Korean says “the future does not come to the nation who does not know the history”, but the Korean does not know the history

  1. On March 1, 2013 (independence movement memorial day) Korean president Park Geun-hye stated,
    “the position of the victim and the wrongdoer does not change even if 1,000 years pass.”
    　However, even Japan has a right to demand apology and compensation from Korea if she says “1,000 years”. Because Korean invaded Japan by “the Mongolian Invasions” in 1274 and 1281. Since then “800 years” have not passed.

    　In 1272 Korean Prince said to Chinese emperor Kublai Khan “Japan does not receive the sacred influence of your Majesty yet.” This became the decisive factor to the Mongolian Invasions to Japan.
    　The main leaders of the Mongolian Invasions were Korean soldiers, and they were belligerent among commanders. The above-mentioned things are described in both the Chinese official history “History of Yuan” and Korean official history “History of Goryeo”.

    President herself and her Staff who checked the address never knew the description that “Korean stirred it up, slaughtered the Japanese and insulted Japanese women and children.”
    The Korean history textbook only says “Korea punished Japan with China” about the Mongolian Invasions. They don’t know the history. If the staff had known the history, they would have changed “1,000 years” to “100 years”.

  2. 　A Korean newspaperman said to me,
    “you do not know that Korean country Silla named ‘Japan’. Why do not the Japanese textbooks put such a fact!”.
    He said so because Choe Nam-seon the historian of the Korean nationalism wrote so without showing any historical evidences.
    　About name of “Japan”, the only historical document in the Korean Peninsula is “Samguk Sagi” (Three countries history).

    “Silla bongi” (Silla history) says
    　“December, 670……Japan changed its name to ‘Japan’, Japan says by itself, ‘Because we are near the place where sun appears , we made it the name of our country’.”

    *“Japan” means the place where the sun rises. “Ja” means the sun and “pan” means the base or the root or the origin.
    *Silla (57 BC – 935 AD) was one of the Three Kingdoms of Korea, and one of the world’s longest sustained dynasties.
My opinion
  1. The Korean history textbook does not have the history that is inconvenient for Korea.
    It is no wonder that President Park Geun-hye does not know that Goryeo invaded Japan in the 13th century. The President did not learn it at school.
    • As for “History of Korea : Government-designated textbook for Korean junior high schools (2005 version)”, a half of the textbook writes the Korean history before 1890 and the latter half writes after 1890. Unlike Japan, Korea places more weight on modern history and contemporary history.
      The Korean textbook does not describe the fact of the Korean aggression against Japan in 1274 and 1281. Only the chronological table in the end of the book writes “1274 - the first Japan 정벌 (征伐) by Yuan dynasty and Goryeo” by small letters.
      (The word “정벌 (征伐)” means to attack and defeat a bad person, but what bad thing did Japan do for Yuan dynasty and Goryeo? The Korean intention that “Japan is bad and Korean aggression is good” is seen there. Just because Japan did not obey Kublai, Yuan dynasty and Goryeo attacked Japan. It is not possible as history education to inoculate Korean children with such a one-sided value judgment.)
      In addition, high school textbook (2011 version) does not describe the fact either.
    • About the Vietnam War that Korea participated in and repeated evildoing by Korean Army there, the Government-designated textbook for Korean junior high schools just writes, “Korea dispatched the nation’s armed forces to Vietnam.” Nothing else.
      Of course the issue of “Lai Dai Han” is not to exist in Korea.

  2. Neither a historian of the Korean nationalism nor the Korean reporter knows the history book of their own country. Because it is written in kanji, they may not be able to read it. Korean says “the future does not come to the nation who does not know the history”, but the Korean should know their own history.
    Therefore I think that Korean should learn and use the kanji, although they might be conscious of Japanese culture. (Korean words have a lot of Japanese words which Japanese made using the kanji. 70% of the Korean vocabulary come from Japanese. If Korean used the kanji as in the past, they would understand the facts. That would be no good for Korean.)

My capability is a little, but if you entrust me who am your retainer, I will do my best and I long to help the military of your Majesty.

  3. Korean does not accept much value to the old things including the long-established stores. The old books and buildings are not left in Korea. So because the history of the old times is not clear, the history tends to be forged generally.

C. 2333” and the Korean textbook approves “Dangun” existed, though he appears in the book written 4,000 years later and his existence is groundless. Of course it is supposed in the world except Korea that the myth of Dangun is the fictitious scripture to show the Korean independence from ancient times, and the existence of Dangun’s Korea as a nation is not approved.   5. The history textbook of the high school says “the excellent Korean and inferior Japanese.”
    Korean textbooks include the emotional expressions such as “the excellent Korean and inferior Japanese” or “Korea punished Japan with China” except the historical facts. That is beyond your knowledge and unbelievable. But, it is true.
    Koreans think everything in the world originates in Korea (of course that includes soccer, sushi, etc.) and Chinese Confucius was a Korean.

    The Independence Gate in Seoul

    The Independence Gate in Seoul was built by the Korean independent association in 1897. The beginning was that Korea dynasty's independence from China was accepted by Shimonoseki Treaty after the Sino-Japanese War in 1894-95.

    Once I talked with a graduate student of Yonsei Univ., “The Independence Gate” became the topic.

    He said that the gate meant the independence from “Japan”.

    He also said that Korea (Korea dynasty) had no reason to become independent from China, because Korea had not been a Chinese dependency.

    After that, I asked ten students of Yonsei Univ. and Seoul Univ.. “Does the gate mean the independence from China or Japan?”

    Only one answered “It may be China?”, but the others answered “Japan”.

    In Korea the politicians and the mass media often criticize Japanese indifference to the history and they appeal loudly that Japanese should learn “right” history.

    However, there is an aspect that “right” history that Korean believes is sometimes only the apotheosis that does not based on the facts.

  7. The common sense of your country does not work in Korea. When you listen to Korean claims, it is important to check the grounds and evidences of their claims.
  8. Japanese tend to demand evidences and the truth, even if it is loss for the Japanese. I think that it is the reason why Japanese science developed into.
    Korean talks with feeling and emotion. They do not seem to be able to give explanations that they show evidences logically. They demand only self-interest. They do not tend to accept value in working steadily like a craftsman. In this situation the science does not develop, and the scientists getting the Nobel Prize that is Korean long‐cherished wish will not be realized.

Because the completion of The Independence Gate is before the Annexation of Korea, it is natural “Independence” means the independence from China. But it has nothing to do with the Korean. “The independence” means only “independence from Japan” in Korea.

２．The editorial of the leading newspaper in Korea - They lack in high character as a social public organ

　In September, 1984, President Chun Doo Hwan visited Japan as the first Korean sovereign, and he stated at the Korean airport on his way home, 　“I received apology of the Emperor as the President who represented Korea”.
　But, nobody remembers such a thing. It is just the national oblivion.
　The Korean media often make a lapse of memory and oblivion, too. Not only that, they can not go out of the cage that “only the fantasy history that they learned at school is absolutely right”.

　“God sometimes borrows human hands and punishes human evildoing. The most severe penalty is the large-scale air raids. The history has two famous divine punishments. In February, 1945 when World War II went to the end, Dresden in Germany was burnt on fire. Six months later A-bombs fell onto Hiroshima and Nagasaki, Japan.
　These bombings were the divine punishments, and were human revenge. Bombing of Dresden was Jewish revenge slaughtered by the Nazis. Bombings of Hiroshima and Nagasaki were Asian revenge sacrificed by Japanese militarism.

　“Abe seems to have fallen into a hallucination. Because his eyes are blocked up by prosperous conditions by the weak yen and the excitement of the far rights, he can not see the way where he and Japan should advance to. 　He can act freely. But God can act freely too. Because the deep grudges of the log people have not been yet removed, it will be free that God judges that the punishment on Japan is not enough.”
My opinion
  1. They say the atomic bombs on Japan were “divine punishment” and they still say, “the punishment on Japan is not enough”. That means it is necessary to drop more A-bombs on Japan.
    It’s free to think so, but it’s unbelievable to write so. They can not really understand some things you can say and some things you can’t. They lack in high character as a social public organ.
    “JoongAng Ilbo” is not the tabloid, but the Korean leading newspaper. You can understand well what kind of nation a Korean is through the newspaper too.
    By the way, the Korean textbooks of social studies write, “the United States dropped A-bombs to punish evil Japan that invaded Korea and China on behalf of Korea and China”. But this is out of the question.
  2. This article received criticism and was added a sentence to later. It says “Spokesman of Joong-ang Ilbo said, ‘this column is an individual claim of the editorialist Kim Jin, and is not an official opinion of the company’.”
    Is “Spokesman said” necessary? It should just write, “This is not the opinion of our company”.
    It does not have any problem that an individual has whatever kind of claim. You can’t stop someone thinks that “It is necessary to drop more A-bombs on Japan”.
    But it is abnormal that a Korean leading newspaper puts the article on the paper. It is the Korean who can not understand the abnormity.

３．“Discount Japan Campaign”

　“Discount Japan” is activity to denigrate Japan in the global community.
　For example, the campaign has the strong energy that made Korean recognize the Japanese sun flag to be “the war crime flag which there must not be in the world” during approximately two years.
　The group VANK (Voluntary Agency Network of Korea) sent a document to each member of the International Olympic Committee (IOC) and world influential media. It says “racial discrimination is carried out routinely in Japan, and Japan does not have a qualification to hold the Olympic Games.”
The Korean government issues the subsidy to this group and praises the activity and give the leader a decoration.

　On September 30, 2013. the President Park Geun-hye did a one-person show of “derogatory remark to Japan” to the Hagel U.S. Secretary of Defense who visited Seoul.
　The Korean Peninsula has “calumny culture” since old days of Silla. It was by the calumny that General Yi Sun-sin who troubled Toyotomi water forces lost his position.
　Today’s Korean companies are full of toadeatings to the bosses and calumnies to defeat rivals towards a few upper posts.
In the any financial combine companies, the employees who are not selected as managing directors in their mid-40s are forced out. Therefore there are many cutthroat competitions by toadeatings and calumnies.

　It is because of “Korean calumny culture” that Korean president Park Geun-hye told “derogatory remark to Japan” to President Obama when she visited the United States, to Chinese Chairman Xi Jinping when she visited China and to German Prime Minister Merkel on the occasion of G20 attendance.
　Because they believe that “Korean calumny culture” is recognized all over the world, she told “derogatory remark to Japan” to the leaders of world that Korean thought “bosses of Japan”.

  1. You can know who is reliable, Japanese or Korean. There are more crimes in Korea than Japan.

      • On January 23, 2013, the plural Korean media reported that the women who engaged in prostitution business in Korea amounted to approximately 270,000 and it reached approximately 1.07% of woman population (Korean National Statistical Office investigation in 2013).
        According to the survey by ministry of Korean woman family, 3,644 women work in professional prostitution suppliers (crowd place of the brothel), approximately 147,000 women work in another job type prostitution suppliers (bars) and approximately 118,000 women work by the Internet and other methods.
        Korean media wrote, “specialists said the number of “270,000 women” was not correct and it was maybe more than that”.
      • On June 27, 2011, the U. S. Department of State announced “the annual report” that summarized the actual situation of human traffic of 184 countries of the world.
        It pointed out “The Republic of Korea (ROK or South Korea) is a source, transit, and destination country for men and women subjected to forced prostitution and forced labor.” and it demanded the control and maintenance of the law to Korean government.
        The report pointed out that the men and women who entered Korea for work and marriage from Russia, Uzbekistan, Kazakhstan, Morocco, Colombia, Mongolia, China, the Philippines, Thailand and Cambodia really encountered damage of forced labor and the prostitution there.
        It wrote that sex buying and selling through the Internet spreads to the minor in Korea and some Korean women became prostitutes in United States, Canada, Japan and Australia.

４．On March 11, 2013 Korean diplomat was absent from memorial service of “Aftermath of the 2011 Tōhoku earthquake and tsunami.”

The memorial service was held. and the diplomats of more than 140 countries which have the embassies in Japan attended.
Chinese ambassador and Korean ambassador did not attend at the ceremony.
　The Chinese ambassador came to the place. But, he caused “political anger” when he knew the order of the ceremony to treat Taiwan well and he returned.
　As for Korea neither the ambassador nor the substitute came there from the beginning.
Korea commented, “the person in charge overlooked the notice of fax from Japanese Ministry of Foreign Affairs”. And Korea added, “Japanese Ministry of Foreign Affairs was bad because it did not confirm the absence”.
My opinion
  1. Koreans do not admit their mistakes all the time. They shift their responsibilities or faults onto someone else. It is the rude nation.

５．Anti-Japan nationalism movement for the Japanese words rejection

　This is a anti-Japanese and strong-arm nationalism movement that tries to change Japanese words melting into Korean language spoken every day in Korea with original Korean words.
　But Korean words for science, economy, principles, capital, communism, society, philosophy, etc. are the kanji phrases that Japanese devised from the last years of Edo era to the Meiji beginning.　 These Japanese words are just adopted in both China and Korea.
It is difficult to change them into Korean original words. That is unbearable for the Korean anti-Japan intellectuals.
My opinion
  1. Japanese does not hesitate about using foreign words.
  2. It is said that 70% of the Korean vocabulary and more than 90% of technical terms come from Japanese.

    Most of the words in the Korean constitution are Japanese.

    Kanji words used in Korea are Japanese words including translated western words into Japanese. They were used in Korea in the Japanese rule times. “新聞” (Shinbun) is the words that Japanese translated “Newspaper” into. “新聞” (신문, Shinmun) is Korean word too. In other words if you use kanji in Korea, you can know that Korean language consists of much Japanese words and a little Korean original words.

６．UN Secretary General of the “Yang-ban” nature full exposure

　UN Secretary-General Ban Ki-Moon did one-sided criticism that is the United Nations Charter violation to Japan. 　On August 27 2013, Chief Cabinet Secretary Yoshihide Suga expressed strong discomfort “I felt a question very much.” 　and showed a policy to confirm the real intention of his remark through UN representative part.
Ban has been brought into question by his behavior or his relationship personnel affairs to take sides with native country Korea until now.
　According to the news of Korea he performed intervention in domestic affairs in a glance from the top. He said “Japanese political leaders should reflect themselves extremely deeply”.
In spite of his situation that he should protect high neutrality, he launched criticism lacking common sense to Japan in his mother country Korea. There are rumors about doubt of “the United Nations Charter violation”.
　Ban is “today’s Yang-ban (the noble)” , and he got the post by the Korean national sport or the lobby tactics.
　And as soon as he got the post in the global community, he gave Koreans important posts by personnel affairs.
The personnel affairs that he selected a son-in-law as the Director of the Secretariat of the Iraqi support mission caused the situation that staffs of United Nations labor union adopted Secretary-General criticism.
　It is famous that Mr. Ban blusters at staffs of United Nations of the middle lower layers.
He interferes in the issue of human rights of African countries strictly, but says nothing to China.

７．“An irresponsible remark” of Cho Yun-son in the United Nations, and the issue of comfort women

　It was on October 11, 2013 and at the third committee of the United Nations.
　According to the Korean paper, she said “why are humanitarian crimes repeated ?”. It is because reflection and the apology for the mistakes were not enough thoroughly. The straightforward example was right a comfort women problem.”
　In other words she showed “Korean traditional belief” that Japan does not reflect on and apologize”.
　Korean president denies the information about barbarity by the Korean military in the Vietnam War and the information about “Lai Đại Hàn” as “things that dirtied the honor of the national military”. （“Lai Đại Hàn” means the children who were born between Vietnamese women and Korean men in the days of the Vietnam War. Korean fathers escaped.） I can not understand the president of the country which soldiers left 3,000 “new Lai Đại Hàn” and escaped to Korea after restoration of diplomatic relations between Korea and Vietnam can make such a speech.
　She said,
　“56 Korean survives among the comfort women supposed more than 100 thousand people. They were gathered by somebody and were located in a certain national military unit and were managed thoroughly while being examined regularly. They were forced to live the life like the prisoners.”
　“More than 100 thousand people” she said seems to be the number that put Japanese and Koreans together, but the person concerned of the Korean government once said “Korean comfort women were 200 thousand”. The number was changed.
　She pocketed the historical fact “Koreans collected them” by the word “They were gathered by somebody”.
　The words “they were forced to live the life like the prisoners” disregard the actual situation.
　“The diary of the comfort women station manager” announced in the summer of 2013 wrote, “the Korean manager was requested by Korean comfort women and withdrew 600 yen from their deposits, and he sent to the parents’ houses of the comfort women”.
　The monthly income including the bonus of the genl. was 550 yen in wartime. That of the captain was 155 yen and that of the private of the draft was 6 yen. (Japanese army and navy encyclopedia).
　She ended the speech with the words “the issue of comfort women is not a simple diplomatic dispute only for specific nations. I would like the further interests and supports of the global community not to leave a wound in the human history.”
　But the global community must pay more attention to Korea sending out the comfort women who are more than 100 thousand in all the countries of the world now.

　A special feature photograph of so-called “comfort women” has appeared in the homepage of the Korean “ministry of woman family”.
There was a poster photograph in it. The kanji that meant “Wanted” was clearly there. Why did Korea that said the comfort women were forced by Japanese put up the photograph indicating the mistake of their claim? Because Korean could not understand the kanji.
　There ware a photograph of the two-shot of “the Japanese soldier who bought a comfort woman” and her. The “Japan soldier” had a wave hair. Surely it will be a American soldier of orient origin who was stationed after the war. Because all the Japanese soldiers had shaven heads in this time.
　So Koreans in their prime of life do not know even the fact. They did not learn the history. This is because Korea is the nation learning only the fantasy history. The photograph of the problem seemed to have been deleted after I wrote it in the book.

  1. Japan should check well and announce it in the world. Without doing anything, Japan will be criticized by Korea forever.
    The Japanese idiomatic phrase “drain it away with water” that means “let bygones be bygones” is not understandable in the world.
  2. Koreans don’t want the truth, but they want the image of comfort women who they think.

８．The murderer of “pro-Japanese old man” is hero May, 2013

　In 2013 an old man was knocked and killed by a young man, because the 95 old years man said that Colonial days of Japan were good.
The Seoul district court sentenced the criminal to penal servitude five years on September 10.
　In the Korean net, you could see the overflowed notes that said the criminal was a hero, and that denounced the murdered pro-Japanese old man.
This is scenery symbolizing the actual situation of “Confucian country taking good care of an elderly person”.
　The rate of suicide of 75 years or older in Japan is 14.6 people per 100 thousand. That of Korea is 160.4 (OECD investigation, 2011).
　Speaking of 95 years old, the old man was 27 years old or 28 years old when the rule of Japan was over. He knew “the Japanese times” enough.
　が、For this criminal, “the anti-Japan as his knowledge” is absolutely right and “the pro-Japan as the true experience” that 95 years old man showed should be crossed out.

“About Korea” of Chinese history book “The Records of Three Kingdoms” begins with
　“Korea is in the south of “Taihogun”. The sea is the border about the east and west. The south of Korea contacts Japan.”
　(“Taihogun” is the Chinese territory in Korea.)
　It says “the sea is the border” about the east and west.
But about the south of Korea it does not say “the sea is the border about the south of Korea”. It says “the south of Korea contacts Japan.”
　if you interpret it obediently, that means that Japanese lived in the south of Korea.
In other words “About Korea” of Chinese history book “The Records of Three Kingdoms” writes that Korea and Japan were adjacent to each other.

And “About Korea” says that “Because there is iron ore, Korean and Japanese dig the iron ore.”.
In other words some Japanese lived in the area where the Korean lived in.

“If you go to Japan from “Taihogun”, you set sail and go ahead through the place of Korean to the south and the east and you reach “Kuyakannkoku” which is the northern coast of Japan.

　In other words, “Kuyakankoku” where you arrive at before crossing the sea for Tsushima was the country of Japanese (or the country which Japanese rules over). 　If “Kuyakankoku” was the country of the Korean, the book should write “you reach ‘Kuyakannkoku’ which is in the southern coast of Korea”. 　And Tsushima is written as a country constituting Japan which is a federation.
It should be easy for the President Park Geun-hye to read such documents, because she is proficient to read Chinese.

  1. Korea is said to be the country of “Uriginal” that makes anything their own thing, but I feel irritated that it is not taken up in Japan.

The Korean radon environmental standard is 148 becquerels per atmosphere 1 cubic meter as well as the United States.
178 of 424 houses (42.0%) in Gangwon-do were over the environmental standard level. It was the highest in Korea.（The Chosun IlboJanuary 25, 2013）
　Radon is radioactive material occurred by weathering of the granite and causes the lung cancer depending on density. The main place of Pyeongchang Olympics is Gangwon-do.
　You should know that there is a country which does not hesitate to lie that “Japan is full of radioactivity and dangerous” while having such a serious problem.
　This fact was written in a Japanese newspaper. Two days later a Korean net media reported a part of the news.
　The header said “Japanese extreme right wing media made the irresponsible remark that ‘radioactivity of Seoul is higher and Korea should cancel Pyeongchang Olympics’.”
Though “all the source data about radioactivity are from Korea,” why can Koreans say it’s “an irresponsible remark”?

１２．Full of distortions so that a bridge collapses “naturally”

　“Oh no! Did I have astigmatism? I’m not attacked with Ménière’s disease, am I?”
　I thought so seriously at the grilled meat restaurant where the former correspondent took me, in the spring in 1980 when I went to Korea for the first time in my life.

　Because the big pillar in the middle of the room was not perpendicular and the floor seemed to be wavy somehow.
　When I came back to the luxury hotel, I fell into a gloomy feeling, because I knew my face on the mirror in the room were distorted.

　The next day the Japanese manager in Japanese trading company branch in Korea said to me, “I thought I became astigmatic, when I came here for the first time two years ago”. I felt relieved to hear his words same as me.

　The manager said successively.

　“This building has extremely high rental charges. The appearance is surely excellent, but a marble runs in no time to the edge over there when you put it in this corridor.”
　This country does not have a sense to pursue “perpendicularity and horizontality” about a building.
　No, it should have “perpendicularity and horizontality”. Even if it has, the latitude for “perpendicularity and horizontality” is extremely wide.

　If Japanese look at the buildings of “cultural assets” and “historic spots” in Seoul, they think that “These were made by craftsmen who did not have sense of “the perpendicularity and horizontality”.

　When I looked around the old historic temples of the old Paekche (Kudara) area, I thought that
　“Is it true that a Korean says ‘people of Kudara brought Japan building technique’?”

  1. When Koreans come to Horyuji Temple in Japan, they have a look around the buildings saying “We Koreans built these in old days”.
  2. It is said that the Paekche (Kudara) people taught the technique of Japanese Horyu-ji Temple. However the buildings such as Horyu-ji Temple are exact about “perpendicularity and horizontality” and endure the earthquakes more than 1500 years, The buildings of the old historic temple of the Korean Paekche (Kudara) area are irresponsible for “perpendicularity and horizontality” and full of distortions.
    What does this mean?
    The reason is thought as follows.
    1. The Paekche (Kudara) people taught the technique, and the Japanese who learned it used the technique with attention to “perpendicularity and horizontality”.
    2. The Japanese improved the technique.
    3. The Paekche (Kudara) people had the technique, but did not mind “perpendicularity and horizontality”.
  3. As for the Japanese culture such as miso, tofu, Go, the bonsai, etc. China is said to be the origin. They faded once in China, but Japanese improved the things that came from China and they handed them on the torch.
    The difference between Korean national traits of Kenchanayo mind (Never mind, Don’t worry about details) to accept injustice and malfunction and Japanese national traits to improve the things which came from the foreign countries and to be particular about the details brought about the difference between buildings of Japan and those of Korea.

An accident happened on the top floor of the noble “Silla Hotel” which had just newly opened on August 1, 2013.

　“A leak happened in the 23rd floor that is the top floor, and the disturbance that the floor was closed occurred.
Because the leak continued, 2 restaurants of the 23rd floor that started business at 6:00 p.m. were forced to suspend business.
How does rainwater drip down from the ceiling of the top floor? Why is it in the noble best quality hotel belonging to the Samsung group…….
This is not the problem of simple shoddy construction but the problem of the stage of the structure design.
Of course both the design and the construction were maybe done by companies of the subsidiaries of Samsung. leaks in a noble best quality hotel! This is OINK (abbreviation of “Only IN Korea” = “It is possible only in Korea”).

１４．“The Hangul Alphabet can express all pronunciation in the world?”

　Korean is often proud to say “Hangul Alphabet is the most scientific letters in the world” or “Hangul Alphabet can write all world pronunciation”.
However, the Hangul Alphabet cannot show “TH” “V” “F” sounds of English. It cannot write the Japanese “TSU” “ZA” “ZE” “ZO” neither.
In addition, as for Korean words, “mal” (horse) and “marl” (words) become the same letter. “Il” (day) and “eel” (work) become the same letter, too. In other words the Hangul Alphabet can not indicate the difference between long sound and short sound.

　The preface of “the Hangul alphabet” which Sejong the Great promulgated says,
“Even if the ignorant masses have something to say, they cannot often write their feelings”. I feel sorry they are poor. So I made 28 characters newly for them. I hope people make use them every day”.
This shows the Hangul Alphabet was the letters which were given to poor ignorant masses.
My opinion
  1. Sejong the Great himself did not use the Hangul Alphabet and used the kanji. The Hangul Alphabet was the letters that were given to poor Korean people. I can’t understand the Korean thinking that appreciates such a King.
  2. Korean pronunciation : “tsu”→“chu”, “za”→“ja”, “ze”→“je” and “zo”→“jo”. Korean pronounces Japanese “Suzuki” “Sujuki”. “Matsui” becomes “Machui”.

１５．“The shabu-shabu originated in Korea too”?

“Uriginal” means things and culture that has been recognized as “Korean things and culture” without evidences by Koreans who believe that “anything good originated in Korea”.
For example, they say “in fact, Confucius was the Korean”, “Korean invented the kanji”, “the soccer began in Silla of Korea” etc..
When I entered “the shabu-shabu restaurant” in Korea, the Korean at the next seat butted in “Korean devised this dish and told Japan”.
However, the president of the Japanese high quality sukiyaki restaurant said,
“Even a skilled chef can not cut a lump of big beef in that thinness equally with the visitor’s order pace, and dish it up.”
It is the new Japanese dish which was made after the electric meat cutter was developed.
Why does such a lie spread out in Korea?

Chinese history book “Sui book” says,
“Korean Silla and Baekje assume Japan a large country. This is because there are many superior goods in Japan. They respect Japan and let errands always come and go”.
　The best intellectuals of the country of “Tang dynasty” that was a third party described the historical fact that was totally reverse to today’s Korean’s talk in this way.

  2. It is difficult to look for the thing which is not the Korean origin in Korea. Jesus Christ, Confucius, soccer, Genghis Kahn, sushi, the airplane........ originate in Korea. It is a kind of “Korean origin disease”.

As for the average salary of the Korean worker, 13.9% are less than 100-200 won and 40.4% are less than 1 million won.
In other words, more than half of salaried employees (54.3%) have less than 2 million won a month (“The Chosun Ilbo, June 5, 2012“)
　On the other hand, “the annual average salary of the university graduate first year in 2011 was 34,810,000 won” (2,900,000 won a month) (“Yonhap News Agency” January 16, 12)
If you think you are in the high rank in the Korean society and the others recognize that, you behave in arrogance and insolence anytime. If you think you are in the low rank, you behave servile immediately in Korea.
“The Chosun Ilbo” (November 5, 2009) wrote,
“When I drived a light vehicle and entered the golf course, I was stopped by the guidance staff. He said ‘What do you want?’. Though the Japanese chairperson of financial combine gets on a light car, why is it so in Korea?”
The Joseon dynasty was a state of the strict hereditary class system.
“Japan” destroyed such class system in the Meiji era and if you studied hard and passed the examination, you could make the employee of the leading corporation or a public employee.
However, after the world war 2 the Korean made the gap-widening society which pushed its way up to “today’s yang-ban” by passing a senior official examination or the white-collar employment examination of the financial combine.

　The rate of suicide of the elderly person is the first place in OECD member nations. The poverty ratio of the elderly person is the second place in OECD member nations, too. This is the fact that statistics show.
　However, the President of this country addressed, “the world should have more moral sense” in the United Nations General Assembly. The prime minister of this country stated, “Japan should learn more humanitarianism” at the domestic press conference.　　　　　　　　　　ｊ

“as for the children who entered the United States as adopted children for 12 years, approximately 2500 were from China and a little less than 800 were from Korea.” China was No.1 and Korea was No.4.
　However, Chinese population is 30 times of Korea. It is certain that Korea is still the country that exports many adopted children.
Korean seems to have become the nation who loved “monuments”. They are pleased to build Korean monuments in the countries which have nothing to do with the monuments.
　They had better make the monuments of the boys and girls who were sent overseas as the adopted children.

Korean “lobby” means presents, the money conferments or threatening. They never choose the means. They win over the persons who they intended for and completely make friends.

My opinion
  1. The Korean way is to claim several things to realize one claim. They make the partner give up and say “one claim is OK”.
  2. If Apple sues Korean Samsung, Samsung sues Apple. They think it can cancel out the Apple’ suit. This is their way of negotiation.
  3. The logic is not necessary for them. Both Takeshima and Tsushima are Korea territory without any reason for them.
  4. I want to ask the Korean prime minister, “Which is humanitarian, Korea or Japan ?” The World people can answer easily.

２０．Korean Heroes

1. An Jung-geun（1879 - 1910） ･････ He is not the general who won with the independence forces, but just the terrorist who shot the old man Hirobumi Ito standing without carrying a weapon.
2. Yi Sun-sin（1545 - 1598） ･････ He is not the admiral who overthrew the large fleet of the enemy, but the unfair admiral who pursued and made further attacks on a Japanese warship after cease-fire deal was concluded and died by a stray shot.
Such persons are best for Korean historic heroes.
My opinion
  1. Don’t they have the proper common heroes in Korea?
  2. The country South Korea was made by help of America. South Korea does not have a person who fought anti-Japanese resistance war like Kim Il-Sung of North Korea. (This is not Kim Il-Sung who became the Chairman. The Chairman Kim Il-Sung’s real name is Kim Seong-Ju and he assumed the name of real Kim Il-Sung.)
    South Korea does not have a person like De Gaulle who formed a government in exile and fought Germany either. What was different between Korea and France is that Korea was a part of Japan in those days, and Korean was Japanese. Most Koreans normally lived as Japanese. However, this cannot secure legitimacy of the founding of Korea. The myth that Korean fought with the Japanese military and gained victory with their own hands was necessary.
  3. Therefore Korean textbook writes the made-up stories that the Korean provisional government in China fought Japanese army and gave big results, though the government existed in name only and were void of content. (Therefore it is said that the Korean textbook is not a history book, but mere fantasy novel.) In addition, Korea does not have the hero for independence and so Korea makes the Korean who assassinated Japanese or a person in cooperation with the Japanese Government a hero.
    Thus Korea is going to forge the myth that Korean heroes defeated the Japan’s diabolical rule and founded Republic of Korea. To that end, “Anti-Japan” is essential to Korea. Actually, the rule by Japan was not so bad and there were not the Korean heroes.
